I don't think I'm going to be posting blogs everyday, but this dream was so (insert adjective here) that I had to share it with you. Be prepared! It's very random!
Our story begins with me checking my facebook. (Yeah, I dream about facebook sometimes. That's how addicted I am.) I was snooping around on some profiles and I learned that one of my close friends, Jake, had passed away. (This is all in my dream, not in real life.) I was devastated, but I still had to make my way to school. When I arrived at school, I learned that it was time for Glee Club. My teacher just so happened to be Mr. Schuester from Glee (the hit TV show)! Kurt and Artie were there for Glee and so were some random people I'd never seen before in my life. (Isn't it amazing that your brain can create people you've never seen??) Anyway, we did a song or two, but then it was lunchtime. Once I got to the cafeteria, I saw my friend Jake! (The one who had supposedly passed away.) I ran up to him and gave him a huge hug while asking, "Why does facebook say you're dead?" He said that it was a huge misunderstanding. (For some odd reason, I didn't ask what had happened...because I felt like I already understood everything. lol)
Then, I got a call from my friend Kennedy. She was asking about Jake, but I told her that he was alive and well. She put my friend Dinah on the line, who proceeded to tell me that Tim Curry (The famous actor from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show") was going to come over to my house for a small gathering. (Side note: My friend Dinah and I have this suspicion that Tim Curry is stalking us, because his name/image seems to pop up in random places.) I decided that since Tim Curry was going to be at MY HOUSE, I needed to get home right away. Well, it turns out that I had to ride in a honkin' SUV with some Real Housewife of some big city/county that had bleach blonde hair and would not shut up. She was terribly annoying. On the way to my house, there were tons of dead fish in the road. I hate the sight of dead fish...I hate looking into their eyes that will not close, and seeing their gills left open, trying to suck in air. Ewwie. Once I get to my house, I realize that my whole front door is covered in dead minnows. (It's not really the door to my house, but for some strange reason, I know that it's my house. Weird.) I end up getting through the door, but then my dream cuts out. So I don't get to meet Tim Curry. I think my imagination had run out of steam at that point and was like, "Nah, I don't feel like going anything further. I've done enough work today."
On a different note, I read "Eat Pray Love" over Thanksgiving break and I was disappointed. It dragged on and on and didn't really have a clear purpose. I mean, I know she wanted to eat pasta, wake up at 3am to say some devotions, and then live with this medicine man dude, but after you get past the initial "Oh, this looks good," it just isn't as good anymore. Maybe the movie will be better. Let's hope so, because I love Julia Roberts (and James Franco!) Currently, I'm reading "Revolutionary Road" which started out pretty bland, but around page 130 got really good. I'm itching to get back to reading it. (The movie based on that novel looks pretty good too. I mean, hello! Leonardo and Kate Winslet! It's destined to be good....I think.)
Thanks for reading! I hope you were at least somewhat entertained.=]

First Impressions
Georgia font setting. It's practical and professional looking, yet slightly different than the average "Times New Roman." I guess that's me in a sense.
Hi, my name's Arianna and this is not my first time blogging, though it probably looks like it.
I'd like to think that I can write interesting pieces of work, but I'll let you be the judge of that.
My hobbies include reading, watching movies, watching TV, working out, dancing like a crazy person (alone, of course), and volunteering.
I try to be an optimistic person, which for me means that I try to make everything funny, I laugh quite frequently, and I smile more than the average gal.
I have my opinions, but most of the time I can see why people have differing opinions; I am able to put myself in other's shoes.
Literally too. My shoe size is 8 1/2. (Not sure why I told you that...)
I don't want my blog to sound all self-indulgent, but it is a blog about my thoughts...so I'm a bit conflicted.
Good news! I've lost 1.2 lbs, which may not seem like a lot, but for me, accomplishments deserve celebration. =]
Last little comment before I let you go: I apologize for my random train of thoughts. As you get to know me, or read this blog, you'll see that I cover a broad range of topics in what seems like a little bit of time. This is how my mind works...it can prove to be a wonderous thing, but it can sometimes be a hinderance.
If you have any suggestions, please feel free to share! Thanks for reading!
